November Neighborhood Potluck 11/13/2017

Our November neighborhood potluck will be Monday, November 13 at 6:30 pm. Please join us! All neighbors are welcome to attend! We will meet at St. James Episcopal Church at 1101 N. Broadway. You can enter the fellowship hall from the small parking lot at the rear of the building off Folsom. We’ll begin eating dinner at 6:30 pm with the monthly neighborhood meeting to follow at 7:00 pm.

Our monthly potluck meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, except we don’t meet in December. Each meeting includes a potluck beginning at 6:30 pm, followed by a neighborhood Board of Directors meeting at 7:00 pm, which is open to all neighborhood residents. At the meeting ONK neighbors plan social events, discuss projects that improve our neighborhood, schedule neighborhood clean-up activities, address zoning or local political issues pertaining to our community, and hear a Knoxville Police Department crime report.

If you are new to the neighborhood, please come to a potluck and start getting better connected with your neighbors. Just bring along a main dish, a side, or a dessert to share and get in the know regarding everything happening in our great neighborhood. And if you are already a regular potluck attender, why not invite someone else from your street who might not be aware of all of the events and opportunities going on in ONK?

LOCATION UPDATE: Please join us for the annual joint meeting with our 4th & Gill neighbors! Our 6:30 pm start time will be the same but our meeting location will be Central United Methodist Church, 201 3rd Ave, Knoxville, Tennessee 37917. We hope to see you there, and we should be back to our normal schedule and location next month.

There is a conflict with the space we use at St. James Episcopal Church for our April meeting. Therefore, if the weather is good we will meet at the neighborhood park (412 E. Oklahoma Ave.) at the usual time of 6:30 pm. If the weather is bad, we will meet at the Time Warp Tea Room (1209 North Central), also at the usual time.
