Our March neighborhood potluck will be Monday, March 9 at 6:30 pm. Please join us! All neighbors are welcome to attend! We will meet at St. James Episcopal Church at 1101 N. Broadway. You can enter the fellowship hall from the small parking lot at the rear of the building off Folsom. We’ll begin eating dinner at 6:30 pm with the monthly neighborhood meeting to follow at 7:00 pm.
Our monthly potluck meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, except we don’t meet in December. Each meeting includes a potluck beginning at 6:30 pm, followed by a neighborhood Board of Directors meeting at 7:00 pm, which is open to all neighborhood residents. At the meeting ONK neighbors plan social events, discuss projects that improve our neighborhood, schedule neighborhood clean-up activities, address zoning or local political issues pertaining to our community, and hear a Knoxville Police Department crime report.
If you are new to the neighborhood, please come to a potluck and start getting better connected with your neighbors. Just bring along a main dish, a side, or a dessert to share and get in the know regarding everything happening in our great neighborhood. And if you are already a regular potluck attender, why not invite someone else from your street who might not be aware of all of the events and opportunities going on in ONK?
